Fill out the intake form ↗ before you come in, so your appointment is just the prints.

NFA fingerprints & photos

Book prints

The prints the ATF needs for an eForm: two four-finger slaps and both thumbs. Rolled prints aren't required for NFA. We capture them here, convert them to an electronic EFT file, run it through validation, and email it to you, usually within one to two hours.

Bring

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Completed intake form

We delete your data once the file is delivered. Keep the email: the same EFT file works for future NFA submissions.

Already have FD-258 ink cards? We scan them, convert them to an EFT file, validate it and email it to you, so you can upload your prints with an eForm instead of mailing cards.

Your EFT file and photo, plus a sit-down walk-through of the eForm 1 (to make an NFA item) or eForm 4 (to transfer one). We go through every section with you before it's submitted, so it doesn't come back for a correction.

Set up a trust

A trust document set up for NFA ownership, so more than one person can legally possess the items in it. We walk you through naming responsible persons and keeping the paperwork in order for future eForms.

Example: two suppressors on one order is $40 + $20 = $60. NFA items are released once the ATF paperwork is complete.

How a transfer works

  1. Buy it

    Online, from a distributor, or from an out-of-state seller.

  2. Send our FFL

    Have the seller email us and we'll send our license straight to them.

  3. We call you

    We log it into our books and let you know it's here.

  4. Pick it up

    Bring a photo ID. You fill out the 4473 and we run the background check.

21 or older for handguns, 18 or older for long guns. Same-order pricing applies to items that ship together on one order.

Cost depends on the item, the carrier and where it's going, so we quote these one at a time.

Common questions

Do I need rolled fingerprints for an NFA eForm?

No. For NFA submissions the ATF needs two four-finger slaps and both thumbs. If you need a full rolled FD-258 set for something else, mention it when you book.

How fast do I get my EFT file?

Usually one to two hours after your appointment. It goes to the email address on your intake form.

Do you keep my fingerprints?

No. Once your file is delivered we remove your data from our systems, so save that email. The same file works for future NFA submissions.

How does same-order pricing work?

The first item is full price and every additional item on the same order gets the lower rate. Items from separate orders are priced separately.

What do I bring to pick up a transfer?

A valid government-issued photo ID. You'll complete ATF Form 4473 here and we run the background check before you leave.
